What the exam expects
- Choose channel management tools for bulk review and actions, and know what the dashboard and its CSV export contain on Business+ versus an Enterprise org.
- State the two conditions for acting on private channels with channel management tools on Business+.
- Decide what a Channel Manager can do on each plan, who can assign one, and which org settings cannot restrict them.
- Pick the right control to convert, archive, unarchive, rename or delete a channel, restrict posting or @channel/@here, or turn off huddles in one channel.
Key terms:
- Channel management tools: the Business+ and Enterprise dashboard where owners and admins with permission list channels and act on them.
- Channel Manager: a person assigned to a channel (the creator by default) who can adjust its settings and permissions.
- Posting permissions: a per-channel setting that makes the channel read-only for anyone without permission to post.
- Roles & permissions: the Account types page in Workspace or Organization settings where owners choose which role types can take each action.
