How this planning index works

For study planning, it multiplies each section’s reported percentage by that section’s official outline weight, adds the results, and rounds to a whole percent. Priority order uses section weight × the gap between the reported percentage and 100. This offers a consistent way to compare your own sections; it does not reproduce Salesforce scoring.

Salesforce says the official result is based on the total number of scored questions answered correctly. Section percentages are rounded to whole numbers and are feedback only; weighting and averaging those percentages cannot recover the official overall score. The passing mark shown in the exam guide applies to Salesforce’s official total, not to this index. Read Salesforce’s scoring explanation.
