What the exam expects
- Apply the RACI rules: at least one Responsible, exactly one Accountable, any number of Consulted and Informed.
- Read Slack's example RACI chart: the Partner recommends and builds plans, the client configures and communicates, the Slack team is informed.
- Name what the client always owns and which client role fills a gap (project manager, communications lead, learning lead, Slack administrator, product owner, technical lead).
- Choose the right Slack contact: account executive, customer success manager, or a process run through the account team.
Key terms:
- RACI: Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed; a party can hold more than one letter on an activity (the client is Informed, Accountable and Consulted on project management).
- Executive sponsor: the client's executive point of contact for critical decisions and direction.
- Slack account executive (AE): sells Slack licenses for the account.
- Customer success manager (CSM): drives the account's long-term success plan.
