What the exam expects

  • Build member criteria and content criteria, and combine them in a rule that targets the right members and content.
  • Choose the content rule action (block, review, replace, flag) or a rate rule from a requirement, and predict the result when several rules match.
  • Turn on member flagging and explain what it enables.
  • Pick the moderation permissions for an internal or external moderator, and state what each one doesn't allow.

Key terms:

  • Member criteria: a reusable group of members by user type, profile, creation date or lack of contributions.
  • Content criteria: a keyword list that a content rule matches against posts and comments.
  • Content rule: a rule that blocks, holds for review, replaces keywords with asterisks, or flags matching content.
  • Rate rule: a rule that notifies moderators or freezes a member who creates too much content in a time frame.
