What the exam expects
- Design a custom report type: primary and related objects, "with" versus "with or without" related records, field layout, renamed field labels, and deployment status.
- Choose between a bucket column, a row-level formula, a summary formula (including PARENTGROUPVAL) and a formula field for a calculation or categorisation request.
- Use groupings, subtotals, the detail rows switch, unique counts, conditional formatting and charts to shape report output.
- Decide when a cross filter or a joined report (with cross-block formulas) answers a multi-object question.
- Troubleshoot a missing field or missing rows by checking the report type, its status and its field layout.
