What the exam expects
- Say which tool controls each part of a record page: the page layout editor, the compact layout or the Lightning App Builder.
- Reduce scrolling and build hierarchy with page templates, Tabs, Accordion, Related Record and Related List–Single.
- Activate record pages by org, app, record type, profile and form factor, and hide components by device.
- Design Dynamic Forms pages: field vs field section visibility rules, mobile enablement, and why visibility is not security.
- Summarize many records in place with list view charts and give every viewer their own numbers with a dynamic dashboard.
Key terms: compact layout (an object's key-field list that feeds the highlights panel and hover cards); Dynamic Forms (page layout fields and sections turned into individual Field and Field Section components); visibility rule (filter logic that hides a component until it is met); form factor (desktop or phone, used in activation and Device filters); dynamic dashboard (a dashboard that shows each viewer only the data they can access).
