What the exam expects
- Classify a requirement as an action, a trigger or a rule step, and pick the specific step that meets it.
- Choose the trigger that records a given activity, including forms on landing pages, text-only emails, image files, custom redirects and external activity.
- Choose the rule that reads a given piece of prospect or Salesforce data, and know which actions need a verified Salesforce connector.
- Predict when a step is evaluated from its wait option, and which activity a trigger counts.
- Configure each step on its own, because steps don't inherit settings.
Key terms:
- Engagement program: an Engagement Studio journey built from steps and fed by recipient lists.
- Action step: does something to the prospect record.
- Trigger step: waits for a prospect action and splits into yes and no paths.
- Rule step: splits prospects on criteria already stored in the system.
- Wait period: how long a step holds a prospect before it is evaluated.
