What the exam expects

  • Choose Sales Engagement when the requirement is a repeatable multi-touch sequence and a prioritized next action.
  • Choose Salesforce Inbox (with Einstein Activity Capture) when reps live in Outlook or Gmail, and state its licensing.
  • Recognize when Sales Territories (formerly Enterprise Territory Management) fits: rule-based account assignment, territory access, multiple models, territory forecasts.
  • Configure Salesforce Forecasting for the requirement: forecast types (revenue or quantity, role or territory hierarchy), quotas and adjustments.
  • Separate predictive AI (scores, predictions) from generative AI (drafted emails, summaries) and agents.

Key terms:

  • Cadence: a Sales Engagement sequence of steps (calls, emails) that a target moves through.
  • Work Queue: the Sales Engagement console list showing each rep's due cadence steps.
  • Territory model: a complete territory structure; one is active, others are planned or archived.
  • Forecast type: the object, measure (revenue or quantity), date and hierarchy a forecast rolls up by.
  • Adjustment: a manager's or rep's change to a forecast amount that leaves opportunities untouched.
