What the exam expects
- Tell Gantt filters (which resources and hours appear) apart from appointment list filters (which appointments are listed).
- Use the Skills tab's AND/OR filter logic and the Resources tab options to narrow the resource list.
- Control the appointment list time frame with the horizon date, Match Gantt Dates, standard filters and custom filters, and use the Gantt Display Date for appointments outside the Gantt time frame.
- Build custom appointment list filters: Gantt Filter field set, unsupported fields, Rule Violations criteria, formula fields for dynamic dates.
- Assign the Create Filter and Publish Filter custom permissions and share a filter with everyone or only a group.

- Dispatcher Console: the exam's name for the Classic Dispatch Console, replaced by the Scheduling Console as of Summer '26.
- Gantt filter: the Gantt panel with Hours, Resources, Skills, Utilization and Palettes tabs.
- Horizon date: the date the appointment list measures its time frame from.
- Custom filter: a dispatcher-built appointment list filter on service appointment fields.
- Gantt Display Date: an appointment date that puts it on the Gantt when its other dates don't fall in the Gantt time frame.
