What the exam expects
- Classify a planned message as audience-driven or event-driven and name the send method that fits.
- Choose between a classic triggered send and the Transactional Messaging API from channel, throttling, priority, exclusion and deduplication needs.
- Recommend triggered send settings: priority, subscriber management, Multipart MIME, data obscuring and the definition limit.
- Build a user-initiated audience and exclusions that the interaction accepts.
- Configure Transactional Send and Single Send journeys within their limits.
- Key terms: send definition (the reusable setup a send uses); classic triggered send (an Email Studio triggered email called by SOAP or REST); Transactional Messaging API (the REST API for email, SMS and push transactional messages); messageKey (a unique ID per request); user-initiated send (an interaction a user starts manually).
