What the exam expects

  • Give a new site its products, prices and stock by assigning a catalog, price books and an inventory list from each object's Site Assignments tab.
  • Say how many catalogs, price books and inventory lists one site can have, and what happens when you assign another.
  • Enable locales for a site and pick its default under Site Preferences > Locales.
  • Find the SFRA Storefront Configuration preferences (instance type, default list price book ID) under Custom Preferences.
  • Know that products only reach search after the search index is rebuilt.

Key terms: Site Assignments tab (the tab on a catalog, price book or inventory list that links it to sites); storefront catalog (the catalog whose categories become a site's navigation); inventory list (stock records a site reads); site preferences (per-site settings under Merchant Tools > Site Preferences); organization (all sites in an instance; global settings apply to every site).
