# Set actions, parameter actions, dynamic zones and buttons

Build Dynamic Zone Visibility on a valid Boolean field or parameter, configure Show/Hide and Navigation buttons, and choose the run and clearing options of set actions and parameter actions, including what breaks them.

## What the exam expects

- Make a dashboard zone appear or disappear automatically with Dynamic Zone Visibility, and fix a field that is missing from its list.
- Choose between Dynamic Zone Visibility and a Show/Hide button, and configure and repair Show/Hide buttons.
- Add Navigation buttons that take viewers to other sheets, dashboards or stories.
- Pick a set action's run and clearing options, and configure a parameter action's source field, aggregation and clearing.

Sets and parameters are defined in Sets, groups, bins and hierarchies and Parameters in calculations, filters and reference lines.

Key terms:
- **Dynamic Zone Visibility (DZV):** hides or reveals a tiled or floating zone from a field or parameter value.
- **Show/Hide button:** a button viewers click to toggle one dashboard object.
- **Navigation object:** a button that opens another sheet, dashboard or story.
- **Change Set Values:** the set action, which rewrites a set's members from selected marks.
- **Change Parameter:** the parameter action, which writes a source field's value into a parameter.
