# Analytics dashboard access, tabs and metrics

## What the exam expects

- Show Org Owners where org-level analytics live and which dashboard compares workspaces.
- Explain default analytics access by plan and how a Workspace Owner or Org Owner widens or restricts it.
- Turn off member-level metrics for every workspace in an Enterprise org.
- Interpret membership metrics (total, claimed, active) and the difference between Messages sent and Messages posted.
- Coach owners to use member data for team trends, not individual evaluation, and know the public-channel limit on Pro and Business+.

Key terms:
- **Workspace analytics**: the per-workspace dashboard (Overview, Channels, Members and other tabs).
- **Org-level analytics**: the Enterprise org dashboards in Organization settings, including the Workspaces dashboard.
- **Claimed members**: people who have signed in at least once.
- **Member analytics**: the per-member Members tab, which Org Owners can disable org-wide.
