Who does what on a Slack services engagement: the RACI rules and Slack's example chart, what the client always owns, the client's core and launch-team roles, and how the Partner works with the Slack account executive, customer success manager and support processes.

- Certification: Salesforce Slack Consultant
- Exam section: Delivery and Migration
- Study guide: https://www.certifyforce.com/study-guide/slack-consultant

**Official exam objective:**

> Define roles and responsibilities between Slack, Partner, and client on an engagement.

## What the exam expects

- Apply the RACI rules: at least one Responsible, exactly one Accountable, any number of Consulted and Informed.
- Read Slack's example RACI chart: the Partner recommends and builds plans, the client configures and communicates, the Slack team is informed.
- Name what the client always owns and which client role fills a gap (project manager, communications lead, learning lead, Slack administrator, product owner, technical lead).
- Choose the right Slack contact: account executive, customer success manager, or a process run through the account team.

Key terms:
- **RACI:** Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed; a party can hold more than one letter on an activity (the client is Informed, Accountable and Consulted on project management).
- **Executive sponsor:** the client's executive point of contact for critical decisions and direction.
- **Slack account executive (AE):** sells Slack licenses for the account.
- **Customer success manager (CSM):** drives the account's long-term success plan.
