# Migration day: go/no-go, status and smoke tests

**Official exam objective:**

> Execute a migration (migration status, migration issues, coordination with the client and Slack).

## What the exam expects

- Run the go/no-go meeting: which checklist items must be true a few days before the migration.
- Handle conflicts that appear after scheduling, and explain what Slack Connect partners see during the downtime.
- Track the migration through a client owner or admin and escalate an overrunning phase to the right Slack contact.
- Guide the post-migration smoke test and pick the right fix: clear the app cache, open a ticket, or (rarely) the User Merge tool.
