# Choosing a plan: Free, Pro, Business+, Enterprise+

> Given a scenario, determine when to use each plan.

## What the exam expects

- Find the lowest plan that meets a requirement and reject plans that are too low or more than needed.
- Name the Free plan limits that force an upgrade (history, integrations, huddles, guests) and what Pro adds.
- Name what Business+ adds (SAML SSO and SCIM without Salesforce, all-message exports, data residency, 4-hour first response, posting permissions on any channel) and what only Enterprise+ has (an Enterprise org, domain claiming, custom roles, DLP, information barriers, legal holds, Discovery API, audit logs, HIPAA).
- Apply the June 2025 changes: Salesforce features by plan, security features on Free and Pro, and the end of the Slack AI add-on.
- Set up Salesforce channels whose access follows Salesforce record permissions, and start workflows from Salesforce events.

Key terms:
- **Lowest plan:** the cheapest plan whose feature list includes every requirement.
- **Enterprise org:** an Enterprise organization (Enterprise Grid or Enterprise+ plan) holding many workspaces under org-level policies.
- **Data residency:** storing Slack data in a chosen region.
- **New Business+:** the version of Business+ after the June 2025 changes, with advanced AI and Salesforce features.
