# AI feature availability by plan and feature access

Which Slack AI features each plan includes (and what legacy plans without the AI add-on keep), how owners and admins grant or block each feature under Feature access > AI, who controls future AI releases, and the huddle notes and translation behaviours the exam tests.

**Official exam objective:**

> Given a scenario, determine how to implement Slack AI.

## What the exam expects

- Decide whether a requested AI feature is on the customer's plan, or whether the answer is an upgrade, given Pro, Business+, Enterprise+ or a legacy plan without the Slack AI add-on.
- Grant or block each AI feature under Feature access > AI, knowing that Pro and Business+ choose Everyone or No one while an Enterprise org can target specific people and groups.
- Block generative AI completely, including features Slack releases later, and name the only roles that control future releases.
- Explain huddle notes limits (no guests or external people, the automatic notes channel setting) and who sees a translation.

Key terms:
- **Feature access > AI:** the admin page listing each AI feature with an Edit control for who can use it.
- **Future AI feature releases:** the setting (Always allow access to new AI features) that decides whether newly released AI features turn on automatically.
- **Slack AI add-on:** the paid add-on no longer sold; buyers keep its features until their first renewal after August 17, 2025.
- **Legacy plan:** the older Business+ or Enterprise Grid plan, which without the add-on gets only the Pro AI features.
