What Slack AI does with customer data and how long AI output is kept, how Org Admins set up enterprise search data sources and their AI use, which Slackbot behaviours admins control, and how to keep a channel, canvas or list out of AI on Enterprise+.

**Official exam objective:**

> Given a scenario, determine how to implement Slack AI.

## What the exam expects

- Answer a security team's questions about Slack AI: no model training on customer data, and AI uses only what the requesting member can access.
- State how long summaries, search answers, recaps and workflow-generated summaries are kept and when they are deleted.
- Set up enterprise search on Enterprise+: who enables it, adding data sources, limiting who can use a source, excluding it from AI answers, and what members must do.
- Choose the Slackbot settings that meet a requirement (web search and its warning, canvases, files, repeated approvals).
- Keep a channel, canvas or list out of AI, delegate that permission, and explain what the restriction does not block.

Key terms:
- **RAG (retrieval augmented generation):** sending only the data a task needs to the LLM at inference time instead of training on it.
- **Enterprise search:** Enterprise+ search across connected apps such as Google Drive or Jira Cloud.
- **Data source:** a connected app an Org Admin makes available to enterprise search.
- **Restrict AI use:** the Enterprise+ control that stops AI from reading a channel's content.
- **Slackbot:** Slack's personal AI agent, with its own admin settings.
