How to present a vision to the audience in front of you: researching executives, the executive summary and deck structure, preparing for the unexpected, keeping a remote audience engaged with story, questions, teammates and webcams, and using walking decks and insights workshops with leaders.

- Certification: Salesforce Platform Strategy Designer
- Exam section: Intangible Deliverables
- Study guide: https://www.certifyforce.com/study-guide/platform-strategy-designer

**Official exam objective:**

> Given an audience description, identify the best presentation techniques for communicating a vision.

## What the exam expects

- Research an executive audience first, then write an executive summary and a deck whose first slide stands alone.
- Present the what in one sentence, the plan with data, phases with go/no-go gates, costs with forecast savings, and a closing call to action.
- Prepare an in-room presentation for questions and equipment failure.
- Keep a remote audience engaged: story structure, timed open questions, planned Q&A, a chat monitor, sparing webcam use, a second organizer and a backup tool.
- Use a walking deck and an insights workshop (room layout, pauses, open questions) to align leaders on research.
- Key terms: **executive summary** (a brief summary of the project plan); **go/no-go decision point** (a gate assessing a completed phase before moving on); **maximum engagement** (keeping a remote audience as attentive as if you were in the room); **walking deck** (a summary of no more than 10 slides that informs and persuades, even without you); **insights workshop** (where decision-makers discuss research, not just absorb it).
