# Omniscript elements for inputs, blocks and calculations

**Official exam objective:**

> Recommend the proper components to be used to respond to business needs (Steps, Blocks, Inputs, Display Functions, Formulas, etc.).

## What the exam expects

- Recommend the group element for a need: Block, Edit Block, Radio Group, Type Ahead Block or Action Block.
- Choose input and display elements that capture or show exactly what the requirement asks (consent, rich instructions, record lookups).
- Pick Formula, Aggregate or Messaging for calculations and feedback, and know what Set Values is for and not for.
- Recommend an Action Block when several calls must run in parallel, and know how it handles a partial failure.
