What each Experience Workspaces area does (Builder, Moderation, Content Management, Gamification, Dashboards, Administration, Guided Setup), which permission plus site membership opens it, what the Administration workspace configures, and how to fix hidden sections, blank pages and unmapped dashboards.

- Certification: Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant
- Exam section: Experience Cloud Basics
- Study guide: https://www.certifyforce.com/study-guide/experience-cloud-consultant

**Official exam objective:**

> Apply features and functions of Workspaces for building an Experience.

## What the exam expects

- Place a site task in the right tool: Salesforce Setup, Experience Workspaces or Experience Builder.
- Name each Experience Workspaces area and what it is for.
- Pick the permission (Access Experience Management, Manage Experiences, Create and Set Up Experiences) and remember that site membership is always required.
- Know what the Administration workspace configures: Members, Login & Registration, Preferences, Settings, emails, pages and redirects.
- Troubleshoot hidden sections, blank Administration pages, a lost admin membership and an unmapped dashboard.

Key terms:
- **Experience Workspaces:** the hub for building, setting up and monitoring a site after it is created.
- **Administration workspace:** where the site's basic setup lives: preferences, membership, login, pages, emails, settings.
- **Create and Set Up Experiences:** the permission for administration settings and Experience Builder.
- **Manage Experiences:** the permission for Workspaces access and moderation rules, given to site managers.
