> Given business needs and consolidated data, implement refreshes for data syncs and dataflows/recipes while keeping limits and considerations in mind.

## What the exam expects

- Give objects from one source different sync intervals, and set the scheduler's frequency, stop time and time zone correctly.
- Pick incremental, periodic full or full sync for an object, and explain why a sync ran in full.
- Chain recipes and dataflows to syncs with event-based schedules within the dependent-job limit.
- Predict when a schedule is removed (deactivated owner, sandbox, Developer or trial org).
- Size refresh frequency against the run limit, sync run times and the Salesforce output cap, and find current usage.

Key terms: **connection mode** (how one object syncs: incremental, periodic full or full); **time-based schedule** (runs at a clock time or interval); **event-based schedule** (runs a recipe or dataflow after a sync, upload or other job finishes); **dependent job** (a job an event-based schedule waits for); **rolling 24-hour period** (the moving window that run and output limits count in).
