> Identify ways to transform business outcomes and sales KPIs into reports and dashboards.

## What the exam expects

- Turn a KPI into a buildable report: definition, source data, format and grouping, and the right audience vehicle.
- Pick the report feature for the requirement: matrix grid, cross filter for "with or without", bucket column for bands, joined report for side-by-side objects.
- Choose between a dynamic dashboard and a running-user dashboard, and know dynamic dashboard limits.
- Deliver KPIs with dashboard filters, scheduled refreshes and subscriptions.
- Choose historical trend reporting for short-range change and reporting snapshots for long-range history.

Key terms:
- **Report format:** tabular (list), summary (grouped rows) or matrix (grouped rows and columns).
- **Running user:** the user whose access determines what a dashboard shows.
- **Dynamic dashboard:** a dashboard whose running user is always the logged-in viewer.
- **Historical trend report:** a special report type comparing up to five snapshot dates.
- **Reporting snapshot:** a scheduled load of report results into a custom object.
