# Service reports, signatures and report templates

## What the exam expects

- Plan the setup a customer sign-off needs: service report templates, Signature Type values, signature blocks, the Create Service Report button and the layout fields the mobile app reads.
- Predict which template a service report uses and which language it is generated in.
- Explain how signatures behave: one per type, numbered types for several signers, deactivating instead of deleting, no reuse on regenerated reports, and the Signed checkbox.
- Set expectations for offline sign-off and service report previews.
- End a Field Service mobile flow in the service report preview with the Service_Report_Flow app extension.

Key terms:
- **Service report:** a PDF summary of a work order, line item or service appointment that customers and team members can sign.
- **Service report template:** the layout that decides what appears in a report; each has four subtemplates.
- **Signature Type:** the picklist on the Digital Signature object that names the role of the signer.
- **Signature block:** the template element that holds exactly one signature of one type.
