How to put a business process into the Field Service mobile app: the Field Service Mobile Flow type and the design rules it imposes, image capture with File Upload, app extensions and their Scoped to Object Types and Launch Value fields, and the user setup a worker needs before any of it appears.

- Certification: Salesforce Agentforce Field Service and Operations Consultant
- Exam section: Configuring Mobility
- Study guide: https://www.certifyforce.com/study-guide/agentforce-field-service-consultant

**Official exam objective:**

> Given a scenario, configure the Field Service app to support key business processes.

## What the exam expects

- Choose the Field Service Mobile Flow type for guided processes in the app, and reject screen flows, Visualforce and Lightning component actions.
- Design a mobile flow that respects the app's rules: create, update and delete at the end, no pausing, no fault connectors, supported screen components only.
- Connect a flow or another installed app to the Field Service mobile app with an app extension, and troubleshoot its Scoped to Object Types and Launch Value.
- Confirm the user setup a worker needs before any custom action appears: permission set, system permissions and a Technician service resource.

Key terms:
- **Field Service Mobile Flow:** the flow type the Field Service mobile app runs.
- **App extension:** a Field Service Mobile Settings entry that launches a flow or passes record data to another app.
- **Scoped to Object Types:** the object API name whose action menu shows the extension.
- **Launch Value:** what the extension launches; for a flow, its API name.

- When an image-capture flow needs to show which photos were saved, what should the admin add?
- Why would supervisors and technicians see different app extensions?
